The Indonesian Immigration Office has announced an Interim Visa or Temporary Stay Permit.

The Director General of the Indonesian Immigration Service, Silmi Karim, announced the introduction of a new visa. Transitional Visa or Limited Stay.

According to current information, this visa is available only to those who are inside the country and plan to convert the current visa into a long-term one, ITAS or KITAP, without leaving the country. An intermediate visa is valid for 60 days.

A Transitional Visa cannot be issued if the current visa is on arrival (VOA).

The cost of the visa, the terms of registration and other details are still being clarified.
