For stays of up to 180 days, you may also consider visas D12 and D1/D2, depending on your travel plans and the need to leave the country.
The main difference between a tourist visa and a business visa lies in the purpose of the trip and the permitted activities in Indonesia.
Tourist visa
Suitable for:
Leisure and travel
Visiting friends and family
Personal trips
Business visa
Used for:
Business meetings and negotiations
Participation in conferences and events
Important to understand
Neither a tourist nor a business visa allows you to work or earn income in Indonesia
Violation of visa conditions may result in fines, deportation, and entry bans
A multiple-entry visa is a visa that allows you to enter and leave the country multiple times during its validity period.
Main difference:
A regular visa (single-entry) allows you to enter the country only once
A multiple-entry visa allows you to enter and leave the country multiple times without applying for a new visa during its validity period
