Travel restrictions in Indonesia concerning Visitor Visa and Temporary Stay Permits refer to the Regulation of Minister of Law and Human Rights No. 26 of 2020 about Visa and Stay Permits Policy in the New Normal.
You will be allowed to enter Indonesia if you are a holder of:
a. Official Visa
b. Diplomatic Visa
c. Visitor Visa
d. Temporary Stay Visa
e. Official Stay Permit
f. Diplomatic Stay Permit
g. Temporary Stay Permit
h. Permanent Stay Permit
i. Active Crew member on board
j. Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Travel Card holder, or
k. Traditional Cross-Border
Visitor Visa lets you enter Indonesia for:
a. essential and emergency work;
b. business meetings;
c. selling goods;
d. probationary foreign workers;
e. medical assistance and food supply; and
f. joining the transports as an active crew member.
Temporary Stay Permit is granted for:
a. working activity; and/or
b. non-working activity.
Temporary Stay Permit for working activity allows you to:
a. work as professional or expert;
b. join on ships, vessels, or any other installations in Indonesian maritime zone, territorial sea, continental shelf, and Indonesian Exclusive Economic Zone;
c. supervisor the quality control of goods and products;
d. inspect of audit at company branches in Indonesia;
e. do after-sale service;
f. install and repair machines;
g. do non-permanent work in constructions;
h. work as probationary foreign workers.
Temporary Stay Permit for non-working activities lets you stay in Indonesia for:
a. foreign investment;
b. family reunion;
c. elderly tourism.
Free Visa and Visa on arrival are not applicable yet.
When applying for a visa please send a visa application letter to the Director-General of Immigration via email firstname.lastname@example.org
Visa application letter must include:
1. Sponsor’s identity
2. Foreigner’s identity
3. Sponsor’s email
4. Sponsor’s identity card
5. Application number
After your application is approved by the Director-General of Immigration you will receive a Token Number at your email to apply for the visa at https://visa-online.imigrasi.go.id
You can verify the validity of your electronic visa by scanning the QR code or by checking it on https://visa.imigration.go.id
