For this purpose, the E33G visa (Remote Worker Visa), also known as a remote worker KITAS or freelancer visa, is suitable.

How to obtain a visa within the country
It is possible to obtain a KITAS E33G without leaving Indonesia, subject to certain conditions.
Visa conversion
If you have a valid C1, C2, D1, D2, or D12 visa, it is possible to convert it to E33G.

Bridging visa
If you have an eVOA, it is possible to obtain a KITAS E33G within the country through a bridging visa.

Full package cost β 18,000,000 IDR
The bridging visa is issued simultaneously with the KITAS and cannot be obtained separately.
Processing time β 4 weeks
Biometric data submission at the Immigration Office is required when applying through a bridging visa.

KITAS extension
The extension process can be started no earlier than 30 days before the KITAS expiration date.
If the KITAS has already expired, extension is not possible β a new visa must be issued.
