The National Covid-19 Taskforce has declared an additional requirement for foreign travelers to enter Indonesia to protect Indonesian citizens from imported cases.
Entry restrictions for foreigners to enter Indonesia are still applicable under the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights.
This provision does not apply to essential travels: foreign nationals who work at National Strategic Projects, family reunions, and humanitarian reasons.
Offshore visa applicants are required to have:
1. A valid negative Covid-19 test certificate provided with a readable QR code.
2. A Covid-19 vaccination certificate (fully completed vaccination).
3. A consent letter in English with the agreement to have an 8-day self-quarantine at designated accommodations under the health protocol.
These additional documents also relate to the humanitarian visa application process at Indonesian representatives overseas.
The applications for stay permits can be accepted only through an online system.
