As of January 7, 2022, the quarantine for entry into Indonesia has been reduced to 7 days!

Also, the Indonesian government has denied entry to foreigners who have visited South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Mozambique, Eswatini, Malawi, Angola, Zambia, Hong Kong, Norway, Denmark and France in the past 14 days.

To enter Indonesia, you must now provide:

  • visa
  • Certificate of complete vaccination (at least 14 days after the last dose) in English
  • PCR test no older than 72 hours
  • Peduli Lindungi
  • confirmation of quarantine hotel reservations
  • Sometimes a return ticket is required

All foreign nationals are prohibited from entering Indonesia during the national lockdown (Emergency PPKM), but it does not apply to:

1. Holders of Diplomatic and Official visa;

2. Holders of Diplomatic and Official Residence Permit;

3. Holders of Temporary Stay Permits (ITAS) and Permanent Stay Permits (ITAP);
